Our story
A corner of cuisine, a corner of Catalan land.
This spot once held an old wine cellar, a characterful building steeped in history. Fully restored with care, it has found new life, extended by a private garden at the heart of the village of Sorède, fondly known as "the pearl of the Albères".
The name L'Esquine comes from the Catalan "esquina", meaning a corner, the angle of a street. A fitting nod: our building sits right on the corner, a quiet echo of Sorède's Catalan roots and its territory.
Laura and Anthony made it far more than just an address: a true corner of cuisine, where refined cooking celebrates the finest local and seasonal produce. Here, every dish celebrates flavour and craftsmanship — a place to take your time over a good meal, in an authentic setting.
